In March 2023, my husband was diagnosed with cancer. He couldn't work, was becoming bored, so he started cooking with friends. Hosting a podcast where they shared favourite dishes and connected through food.

That's when we realized something: the best cooks aren't guessing. They're tasting, adjusting, and trusting their instincts.

He's healed now and back at work. But we're reviving this project, because everyone deserves to feel confident at the stove.

Between us, we've cooked for over 40 years. North American, Mexican, Italian, Moroccan, Thai, Indian. Family dinners, pies and desserts, homemade bread, and experimenting with the ingredients in the fridge. We've learned to taste a dish and know what's missing.
